Conceal Carry: S&W Shield 9, Bedside: G23 with flashlight on it. Truck gun: Ruger SP101 2' snub 357. For shorts or light light carry: NAA 22 revolver, Suit carry Keltec P32. Wife has Ruger LCR in 22 mag. She is slide and recoil sensitive. I know 32, 22, 22 mag- well I guess it's like sticking someone 6-8 times with a Phillips screw driver or a single #3 buckshot from a 20 ga. It's going to hurt. LOL

Plus a Beagle/Rat Terrier mix although if a home invader is carrying slim jims I'm SOL.

Within reach is my CZ-clone 9mm with 17 rounds of 147gr; my BCM AR-15 with 30 rounds of 75gr Hornady; my Win Model 1100 short barrel with 7 00s& No. 4s; and curled up at the end of the bed is my 56-pound, all-muscle pit mix.

Oh, yeah, and my Daisy BB gun with about 200 BBs in it ... it will put an eye out.

    Pistol of choice?
    Revolvers! Everybody here knows that.
I have been known to carry some form of plastic bottom feeder from time to time but I always go back to the old reliable, "I shoot it like I'm throwing my fist" snubnose revolver.
To be specific......S&W 642....sometimes two of them with no less than 4 speedstrips.

This is a topic I revisited lately. I sold a FNP45 tactical & got 2 G17's as BOB & truck guns! Simplicity, with an abundance of parts in a standard calibre!

In the house I have. Vepr12 w/ 10 rounds of buckshot and a P99 in my lock box. Wife has a PPQ (well, was my new gun that was confiscated! I havnt even shot it yet. :( ).

XDS 45 for when my CCL gets here!

HK USP 45 & a couple 1911's in the safe for range fun.

Although the HK is my favorite gun, it's size is just limiting!

Any one that I can shoot well. Mostly my .380. Sometimes my .45 or .44 mag, or 38 special. Doesn't matter. Which ever is handy. About the only one I won't use is a .25 ACP. (even a .22 is better than that)

I keep my CZ 82 nearby while in my truck. Perfect combination of size (small), capacity (12 rd double stack), build (all steel, reliable and solid as a tank), and price (under $200 fully dressed). On my nightstand is my CZ 75 pre-B with an 18 rd mag.
Got an old Eastfield 916 12 gauge pump with an 18 in barrel standing by; for the zombies I have an old Hi Standard Sport King and a GSG-5 with a red dot sight (which is tons of fun as long as I keep 22lr in stock!).
