Fellas, I have a Smith and Wesson Sigma 40. I want to give it to my wife to upgrade her from the Beretta Cheeta 380 she has. The sigma has a silver upper slide and she doesnt like it. Can I buy a new upper slide assembly without an FFL? Same as like buying an upper for an AR?

If so, who has upper slides/receivers?

Generally speaking, unless it's a Glock or a 1911 style, chances are slim on finding a new slide for it. Best bet is to have the slide coated locally, or send it back to the factory.
