The I-55 Canals are prime. I put in at the Ruddick Exit launch.

Bayou Lacombe is great all year.

    Zemurray Park

Sorry, but Zemurray Park lake has been drained and all fish, etc. have been removed. Contracts are being finalized for a total overhaul of the lake which will include dredging the muck and making the lake depths more hospitable to the species of fish that will be re-stocked. The completion date is unknown or how long before fishing will be allowed, but the work should result in a greatly improved fishing facility.

I use to fly fish the Tickfaw river for bream in spring when the Caterpillars are in the trees.
Weekend have too many people going up and down river.
So we just do it on weekdays. I miss those simple days!
