Places to live near Leesville

Deployment is ending soon and I'm in the process of looking for a place to live since the onpost housing list is going to be quite long.

Would like to go no further south than DeRidder. I'm single, no kids, no pets so that makes it pretty simple.

Looking to spend no more than $700 a month with utilities. Is it possible?

Any suggestions?

Further South than Derrider? Ragley is next on 171 and pretty small. Anything rentable out there will probably be a Mobile home. Plus you'll be driving 45 minutes to Fort Polk. Why further south or are you just looking for a little more country?

I also wouldn't be so sure on the Base Housing new housing is been erected as we speak and they're freeing up space by moving most all Rotation unit folks completely to North Fort when they're here.
