What do you guys think about Plated VS Jacketed bullets for .45ACP? (for practice? competition? defense?)

I use plated for Target practice with my .380. I get good accuracy from them.

Plated should be fine for practice or competition. Do not over crimp or the plating will tear and give erratic accuracy.

Since the cost of plated is within a few bucks of FMJ, I just buy FMJ. I have started to cast my own though, and that is where real savings comes in. Just waiting on my sizer so I can actually test them out!
