    If a hi cap mag ban were to go through, would I have to adjust my mags to meet the specifications? It was my understanding that all existing mags and firearms would be grandfathered in.

    I agree, I was assuming the OP was referring to current ban states like NY and CA.

    I intentionally left the OP vague so as not to limit conversation and also to see what types of assumptions would be made... You can tell a lot about someone from their assumptions.
