I have a ton of small parts I would love to polish without sitting at my wheel all day doing it by hand. I have been reading a few forums on people using the vibrating style tumbler like what is used to clean brass. Wondering if anyone has actually tried throwing any of their internals in one and how well did it work.

From what I have researched a mix of walnut shell and corn cob with your choice of liquid polishing compound and letting it run for 10-12 hrs brings a good shine to steel parts. I'm going to be making the purchase for a vibrating polisher soon so if you have tried this and have any tips or favorites mix recipes for media to compound that would be a big help and save me from having to do the old trial and error routine.
    Thanks
