Well, some would disagree. If a poster doesn't care enough to at least TRY to make his thoughts decipherable, then I don't care enough to try and break the code. Ditto lack of capitalization/punctuation, which gives me a headache.

If the poster is UNABLE to make his thoughts decipherable... then I guess I miss out on whatever profundities he/she has to offer.

So then why would it matter on whether or not you care about what they write? If they don't care enough to do it correctly, let them just not care.

It's been my experience that folks who constantly jack spelling and other grammar up DON'T CARE. So they surely don't care to hear a Grammar Nazi call them out on it.

It's just pointless to correct them IMHO

I only throw it out there as a friend to those who I know care about such an issue and has made an honest mistake.
