Here you go Cujo. These are all from the mid to late 70s, maybe early 80s. Notice what he did a lot of with the car. :D

Dan, Thanks for the pics. Brings back memories of college days when I autocrossed an MGB....A doctor from Shreveport showed up with a brand new930 Turbo with 130 miles on it, apparently drove it straight from the dealership to the track. You have inspired me even more!! :D

The ones with the car numbered 112 were taken near Aspen, CO at the Porsche Parade around 1976, 77 or 78. The other two, I have no idea. The last one looks like an autocross somewhere. My dad raced a lot so there is no telling where he may be. He was the local terror of "A" Stock in those days. He is still an extremely smooth driver. I won't get into a car with him. Scares the **** out of me (I am also a control freak and have t o be behind the wheel). He will push a car to the edge of control.

gorgeous GT2. Ive got an old 1974 914 targa top that I rebuilt for racing. I pulled the little porsche motor and replaced it with a chevy 350. That little car will move. almost 400 horses in a car that weighs less than 2000 pounds. If you've got the time its a fun project to get into. And the conversion parts werent all that expensive.

Nice looking rig, but a Chevy motor? Yuck. :D (I am Ford blue all the way.) That GT2 has at least 590 HP. It is incredibly fast. The weird thing was that I had not driven a Porsche since 1987, but one lap around the track in the GT2 and it felt like I had never been out of one. Everything was familiar and where it should be.

Im not biased when it comes to performance. except against korean cars... damn the genesis no matter how cool it is. I built a chevy motor for it because it was already in the shop. I built my little brothers 66 mustang just before the porsche build so the ford 289 hipo I had laying around was already at work. Plus 350 parts are CHEAP. Now days I drive an 06 GTO as my a to b car. I took it up to 170 and it was happy and stable. I cant even imagine how that GT2 handles at speed.

    Cujo,

I just ran across pictures of your car the day my dad brought it home from River Road Porsche-Audi. Surprisingly, it has no Carrera rocker stripes. So, as to that particular car, the stripes are incorrect (or at least not original).
