Saying 8th or 9th for us to get the power back on.
But have lot's of fuel till then. Before storm filled some VP Racing Drums and have hand pump. Filled the 5 gallon cans to. Did go fill some race cans though. Had some pink VP Racing cans for year's that were given to me to use as display items I never thought I would fill. His and hers cans

I’m just glad my boat has 120 gallon fuel capacity. Still running on generator power. But, we are moving, tomorrow. New house has power. Won’t need to run generator here, anymore!

Minor damage here . Located east south east of Denham Springs, La. Compared to some we are thankful that we were spared . Lost power 830pm Sunday night / Tue am got a generator and gas with up and running by 1pm then at 330pm hard power restored ///// Home cable and internet restored shortly before noon today. Just lost some wooden fence on one side of yard and some roofing shingle tips. Roof was overdue for replacement anyway. ......................................................................... drill sgt.

We got up close and personal with Ida. Can’t speak for everyone but pretty much anywhere you go here you’ll see trees on houses, snapped utility poles and the likes. We were trapped on my road for a couple days due to trees, power lines and high water making it impassable by most vehicles. Prolly looking at another 2-3 weeks on power restoration. We were fortunate to only have our fence damaged.
This is only a few pics within a small area less than 1/4 mile while we were out cutting fallen trees from our road so people could travel freely.

If anybody spots this houseboat or the remnants of it…please reach out to me. Last seen 6 miles west of Lafitte in the Delta Farms area….pre Hurricane Ida. Boat and plane searches have come up empty.
