I'm using win231 to reload 9mm, what is another good smokeless power to use.

Nowadays pretty much anything you can find.

I like VVn320, Solo 1000, E3, and currently using Ramshot Competition. All of these I like better than 231. But use what you have. My loads are for competition use for reference. Not sure what you are doing with yours.

Hodgdon Titegroup, Alliant Bullseye, Clays, AutoComp and CFE Pistol.....and HP 38 which is the same as Win 231.....all good powders. Depends on bullet weight & type as to which one I would use. Good luck finding powder.

Don't know if Bullseye would be better, but it can be used in 9mm. Bullseye was pretty much a standard for many shooters for light pistol loads a few years ago.

I just picked up a couple of 8 ounce cans of the IMR BP. It looks like its been around awhile but, unopened. Is it good for 45acp and 9mm?

A lot of folks are using the IMR 7625 for now. It is a fine grain powder that meters well and is fairly clean. It is also a powder that we can get for now. It will also work for several other cartridges. The 9mm round is an easy round to load for and there are a lot of good powders you can use.
