Unable to make it this Sat. morning...Plans already made. Would like to buy some ammo cans. Let us know if/when you do it again. Try to schedule a Sat. afternoon also. Easier for me to get there in the afternoon . If your stuff is priced to sell I'm sure it will do fine. The last gun show I went to everything was priced so high it was insulting....some of us are still working poor, left without buying a thing. I hope it works out and you can come back.

Our plan was to be there all day Saturday but something else came up that afternoon. I'm sure we will do it again soon and the fact the place is really cheap to sell at helps. A gun show where I rent 5 tables cost me $350 for a weekend. I can get an 8x10 space for $25 for a day or $35 for the entire weekend. I can put a lot in a space like that.

I hope you speak Spanish. I live about a mile away and have been recently. It's not my kind of crowd. Your items will sell though

Went today and bought some stuff from Mr. Landry. His ammo cans are in better shape and were less expensive than the Ammo Can Man in Zachary.

It was my first time there and the place is full of garbage knockoff crap. Landry's stuff was a step up from some of the other crap people were selling.

It was an interesting experience to say the least. There is some cool useful stuff being offered by some of those other vendors, but the "flea" in flea market is understandable now.

For anyone who missed us there - we had to leave early - sorry for not being around. I have my trailer loaded and if anyone is in need of cans let me know. I live in Addis, about 6 miles from I-10 south on La1. I'm home each afternoon about 5:00 - 5:15.

Here's the prices from the flea market, cheaper than the gun show prices:

    30 cal cans - only 5 left. $10 each
    50 cal cans - about 25 left $10 each
SAW cans - about 25 left $15 each
    40 MM cans - 4 available $15 each
    81 MM cans - 2 or 3 left $15 each.

Prices reflect $5 off each can compared to the last gun show. Table prices at a gun show kill us and the only other thing you have to do is clean the dust off the cans. We shine them up for the show and that takes time, but saves you $5 a can. Tax is included in the prices. We can take credit cards, $25 minimum and 3% added to total.

Also available are BDU shirts. All shirts are $5 each and most are in like new shape.
    solid green:
    Medium (X-long and Regular sizes)
    Large (X-long)
    XL (long and regular sizes)
Pants - probably large to XL (35-40" waist) $5 each

    Tri-color desert shirts Large regular

Woodland camo shirts - medium regular.

All total I have about 45 shirts loaded up. I have probably 100-200 more in storage.

People finally started arriving at 10:30 or so. I got some advice from the guy across the walk way from me. He says there are more Hispanics on Sunday and the crowd is heavier late in the afternoon and Sunday. Unknown to me, there was a church fair and something else happening in Denham Springs this weekend. It was also the last weekend of the month which I know is the slowest weekend of sales, mostly because of money.

I felt like it was worth my time for what I sold in 3 hours.

I went back that afternoon cause my wife wanted to go see it (she'd never been either), there was quite a few more people than when I went earlier. After walking the whole thing, I was wondering how much of that stuff some of those guys were selling is stolen?

When my kids saw the Katana's and Samurai swords I thought they were going to kill someone. :mamoru:
