Range time was great. It was very affordable.
But.... The service by the guy who helped me and my buddy was pretty rude.... Other than that great trip.

I didn't even ask his name. I kept the talking to a minimum with him. He made me wanna just leave almost.
He was a younger black male. Around 23-28 I would say.

Pretty much what I have found in the past. Sure, I realize some idiots come through there (probably more than I want to imagine), but please don't lump me into that category unless I say something dumb like "yo, dis yo lane, yo."

You might act the same way if you worked there and had to deal with all the crap they do. It's not an easy job.

    No I do not think.
I have had to put up with a lot of stuff at a few different places... I never let one bad customer or event straggle into the next one. That is like saying just because my job is hard or I hate it but it is all I could find, so I can be rude... Sorry I have to disagree.

If its who I'm thinking about, he's just getting back to being a civilian again. He's a great guy otherwise, a very close friend of mine. I'm a regular there and one of the female employees gave me ****. I wasn't happy.

I practice there all the time and have never had a problem. Most of the employees are military or former military, so most of theme speak stern and direct. Since I am a Marine my self I get it, but some sensitive civilians take directness as being rude or a Ahole.
Also face it a gun range is not a place where you want the employees to be lackadaisical.

When is the next time you plan on going out there? I have the XD40 Service but I have been thinking about getting the XD subcompact 9mm.

Im not sure man. If you want I can meet you up there one day possibly and let you shoot it. Idk if they will charge me a range fee or not if I don't shoot. I like the Subcompact it shoots and feels great. I have large hands and I have no problems with the smaller grip.

They probably would try to charge you. I'll PM you my number and you can just let me know the next time you are headed out there.

I have shot there at Precision many times, including today..for many years.

I have never seen them act rudely to a customer who was squared away and following the rules. Normal, mature, respectful customers who are safe gun handlers won't have any problems. Immature, disrespectful adolescents will be lectured.
I have seen numerous customers "tuned up" for not following rules and/or generally acting stupid .

But then again, I'm the slow shooter who can't cause trouble if I even want to.

They are very safety concious at Precision. There seems to be an unwritten rule that if people have safety issues, they should take them somewhere else.

I have been hunting for 11 years and I have never seen two bucks fight. Doesn't mean it hasn't happened.
Your theory is flawed and biased.

I always like going to Precision. It is a nice indoor range, and fair priced. Though a while back I seemed to annoy a couple of guys when shooting my four inch .357. While it louder than a nine, I did not feel I was in the wrong. I wasnt showing off or anything, just practicing with my Magnum accuracy.

I just do not get it. I am 25 but it seems that when I was a kid everyone and their mom used a .357 at the range. Now people say I am showing off.
