Question about Saiga 12

Hello gentlemen. I have a Saiga 12 that has a rough spot about 1" from full closed position. It's rough opening or closing. I'm wondering if there is something I can do to make it run smooth? Thanks. Rick.

Is that with no mag inserted? Sounds like where the bolt lug engages and begins to turn. Have you broken it in yet? There are several spots to smooth out, but I wouldn't do anything until you've put 150-200 shells through it. That will help smooth it out, and if not you'll be able to see where everything is rubbing/making contact.

It's better without the mag but still a little rough. I've run about 300 rounds thru it (more like work than fun). Glad my son helped out with that. Thanks.
