Hi guys. I'm new to the forum and I need some help. My Dad passed away a few years ago, and he was a Louisiana resident. He owned several C&R rifles that I really want to have shipped to me in California. I have a C&R license, and my understanding is that I can have the rifle shipped directly to me. What I need to know is this. The rifles are in my cousin's posession in Louisiana and he has agreed to ship them to me. Does Louisiana state law require that he ship through a Type 1 FFL dealer or can he ship directly to me? Any help is tremendouly appreciated. Thanks.

As far as federal and louisana laws go, from him to you is fine. Email him a copy of your 03ffl to include with the guns. California laws are on you.
