Question for Gonzales Members

I live near Gonzales Municipal Park (the one with the baseball/softball fields) and every so often I've been hearing what sound like gunshots. I heard a bunch today, maybe 3 or four times, 10-20 shots each time. I'm guessing is a rifle from the number of rounds and the fact that I can hear it at all. It sounds like it's coming from the southeast, towards where Hwy. 30 and S. Purpera cross. I've heard them before, sometimes during the day, sometimes at night. Is there some super-secret outdoor range that I don't know about, or is it someone having a little too much fun in their backyard?

Not sure. The shooting range is by the Lamar Dixon Center. The police station is by the park.
