Who would you trust to give an accurate appraisal on a Python. Anyone can look online at current or ended auctions but that's not what I would call the VALUE of the pistol. I need to know actual value and what I should ask for if I sell. I'm sure this will sound rude, but don't tell me that your sisters coworkers husband sold his for 1k 3 months ago. That's not the info I need.

Current market value is usually determined by what similar items sold for.

Intrinsic value is an "eye of the beholder" situation

Regardless of the assigned price, the buyer will always determine the selling price. Ie, the amount of money you receive when you sell it is exactly what it is worth to the person who pays you.

If the goal is max return, price high.
If the goal is quick sale, ask for offers or price on the low end of the researched recent prices.
