    I currently have a 9mm and I am wanting to purchase a 40 cal.

The question I have is this:

Is there loads that can be used for both guns?

By that what I mean is, can you use the same primers and powder to make a load for both rounds.

I have finally got all my reloading equipment in and I ordered a reloading book yesterday. So I cant look it up just yet but was wondering if anyone knew off hand if you could or not for both cals?

The primers look to be about the same size, and I would "think" you could use the same powder just in diff quanity.

    Any help on this?

    Thanks

Both rounds use small pistol primers. All the powder mfg's have web sites with load data, go check them out.

I'm using VV N320 right now for both. But depending on availability I'll most likely try E3 when I run out of it.
