    If you carry you HAVE to have extra mags, otherwise you are not being serious about your training 99% of malfunctions happen due to ammunition so heaving only one mag does you NO good (the one inside your gun).

    2 spare mags for me if most of the time.

    Two extra mags. There are many times I think I'll take just the pistol with the mag in it on a convenience store run. Then, I convince myself that's a stupid idea and put the extra mags on anyway.

    Depends on magazine capacity. Seventeen or more in the mag, one extra. Less than that, two extra.

    And always two speed loaders for the bug, doesn't matter if it's playing bug or primary.

    M&P-9c (12+1rds) and an extra fullsize (17rd) magazine. Best case scenario the spare mag is in my mag/light combo pouch, worst case in a cargo pocket.
