Reaction Time Testing - How Quick are You?

List your age if you decide to post results. I'm investigating a few environmental influences on times- audio distractions, time of day, coffee, fatigue levels, etc.

Input device and things like monitor refresh rates might be huge variables as well.

Interesting when you think about what shows up on the shot timer and how much is lost in pure reaction. This test is obviously visual, which is probably more relevant to self defense than competition.

I woke up about 30 minutes ago. (Day off.) No distractions, no coffee/soda. Had my first cigarette of the day, no food (and I'm hungry).

I noticed I got progressively faster the more trials I did. Waiting a minute or so showed drops in performance.
