Recommendations on Fencing Contractors

Can anyone recommend a good fence company local to the Plaquemine / Baton Rouge area that they have had a good experience with recently?
Looking to build a 8ft wooden privacy fence, and already got one quote from a local fence company that was astronomical, and need to get a quote from someone reliable, but reasonable, that does quality work.

I have been looking for the same thing, for an eight foot fence you are looking around $20-30/foot. The labor usually accounts for half of that cost.

I used to build fences as part of my landscaping company, and I can attest that $20 - $30 per foot sounds about right for an 8ft fence. My cost ran about $13 per foot including labor for a 6ft fence with no gates. So I would guess about $15 for an 8ft fence, and then you have to make some profit so 20+ sounds right. If you compare companies bids, be careful about the gates, that is where they usually make their real profit.

20 to 30 is a huge spread for 8 foot pricing. 8ft pressure treated pine installed depending on the total linear feet starts at $24 installed. That is tax, labor and materials.

Nope. Always do my own fencing as I see very few finished fences done right around here (proper post setting, staggering 16' boards, etc).
