How many grains are in a pound?

I could be mistaken but I really think it's still 7,000gr/lb. Might need to look it up.

It really depends on which powder you're talking about. Some burn more slowly than others and the specific gravity is lighter which means less grains per pound. For example, there are 7000gr in a pound of Varget, but only 7000gr in a pound of Reloader 22...



....never mind....it's the other way around.

I talked to a guy once that told me that he counted them Gr by Gr and he told me that it was 7000.
