Has the factory mod. been done, and are all the barrels choked sk/sk .Also, very handsome wood. Is it a 1 of 1000.

It is not 1 of 1000. All barrels are Skeet / Skeet. As for the factory mod., I have no idea. Basically this gun has been sitting in the box since 1982. My dad told me the gun came directly from Remington and I still have the original shipping box.The pictures do not do the stock justice. It is awesome. Thanks ! I'm getting lots of calls.

It's a beautiful skeet set with a limited market. If you don't find a buyer on BS, contact Robert Paxton, w. Paxton Arms. He will take it on consignment and get a fair price for you. If was 10 years younger and still shooting competition, I'd buy it myself. To find out more about the factory modification, which was not a safety issue, but recommended to relieve stress on the stock-to-receiver area, just Google it or contact Laib's Gun Service, the best and only source for parts and service on these shotguns, IMHO.
