If you have multiple items under a trust that was drawn up and notarized in Louisiana what do you have to do if you are moving to another state such as Texas? Is the trust still valid to purchase new items in Texas?

You're going to want to submit one of these. https://www.atf.gov/files/forms/download/atf-f-5320-20.pdf

    Under Question 2, check "NO"

The 5320.20 forms normally aren't normally required for suppressors, but can still be used. (and I suggest doing so.)

Sorry- I missed the second question: I could not say definitively without seeing your trust document, but under normal circumstances, the trust should be fine. I would consult with a Texas attorney to be sure everything is good to go- I don't know if they have filing requirements, reciprocity issues, etc.
