Cleaned my wheel guns today and took a picture. Aren't they purdy?
I think the collection is almost complete for what I want. These are all shooters, none are mint (well, the Alaskan is, it's new), some are missing boxes, not what a "true" collector would want. I just have fun with them, I love revolvers.
Left to right:
-Smith & Wesson Model 642, .38sp.
-Smith & Wesson Model 60, .357mag.
-Smith & Wesson Model 686, .357mag.
-Ruger Super Redhawk Alaskan, .454 Casull.
-Smith & Wesson Model 686, .357mag.
-Smith & Wesson Model 617, .22LR.
-Smith & Wesson Model 629, .44mag.
I'd like to find three more revolvers, then I'll be reaching my self imposed limit. Wouldn't want to appear obsessive or anything...
The ones I'm still looking for are:
-a cowboy looking gun. Maybe a Vaquero or Bisley in .45 Colt, or a BFR in stupid big (like a .45/70). Maybe even a Freedom Arms Model 83.
-a 3" S&W, either a 686 or a 629. Must have unfluted cylinder.
-a S&W 460 or 500. Need to try them both first.
Ok, and a blue, vintage Colt Python...
