I was recently given a RG24 .22 revolver that was my grandfathers. I am planning on just framing it in a case and hanging it on the wall because it has some memories attached to it. I have read all the horror stories on the net about them blowing up in people's hands. I wanted to see if anybody on here has had any experience with them?

    Any info would be appreciated.

    Thanks

I blame the RG & John Hinkley, Jr. for all this Brady Bill BS we have to deal with today.

If Hinkley would have used a real gun, Brady wouldn't have been maimed for life.

The Rohm rimfire is probably the worst of the RGs
It was made to fire blanks as a starter pistol. The rifled barrel version was for export. I thought RG had been banned for import into the US years ago because of poor quality. Maybe not

The center fire RGs seem to be better than the rimfires
