    It's odd that the guy surrendered immediately upon the arrival of a second officer if his goal was to get shot.
    I hope that this officer's "restraint" doesn't get him killed one day.

    I hope not either but the officer seems pretty intelligent. First observing the non sagging of the pocket, but later stating that one he fell to the ground he would have used deadly force if the suspect went to get on top of him to attack.
