Yes it is chambered in .260Rem
Most groups are right at 1/2" plus or minus. The worst group is in the 8's a few are in the high 3's. All groups shown were shot at 100 yards and are 5 shots, the orange targets are 1" diameter circles. I have shot out to 300 for groups and out to 1000 for kicks. That day I had limited ammo and shot at 600, 700, 800, 900, and 1000. Two shots is hardly a group but I was conserving ammo for 900 and 1K. The bottom picture is the target shot at 800 yards. I was going off a ballistic program and guessing the velocity as I have not chronoed the loads. I needed another 3 clicks on the elevation but that is all part of the load development and getting hard DOPE's but not too bad for a guess. I have another target with some more testing and so far the nodes seem to be a grain apart. I am going to test 43.0 grains one more time as I want a larger sample and the results of that test will determine if I use 42.0 or 43.0 grains as my load. Then it will be load up a truck load and get hard dopes out to 1200 yards and get in as much practice as I can before the next match in March.
