Rising ammo prices at Wally World

Was at the Prairieville walmart today and noticed 9mm federal champion (50) now costs $12. Wish it was still $9.50 like it was less than 2 years ago. Also Federal .22 bulk pack jumped from $15.50 to $20.

Anyone else notice this goin on at the other walmarts? Im tempted to go buy out the winchester .22 bulk packs in case they jump soon

Yes, I saw the same thing at the Walker and Dehnam Springs stores. Federal bulk .22, and the Federal and Winchester White Box 9mm both went up too.

It went up a while ago. In fact, I think it's even come down recently.

ETA: Maybe the .22 did go up recently, but I do remember the 9mm being $13-14 a box for a while. That's why I buy online in bulk!

I think the 9mm had come down slightly (like $1.00) a few months ago after being stable a long time, then just shot up about $3-$4 with this jump.

The .22 had been steady for a very long time; now suddenly it's up $4.00 a box!

WTF???!!! Anybody know if this is just a Wal-Mart thing, or indicative of rising ammo prices overall?

It will continue to rise, with the price of diesel going up and upcoming elections,everything will go up except wages.

The 9mm FMJ Federal used to be around $9 bucks for a 50-round box here locally at Wally-World but has since crept up to $11/box...

Strangely though, the 100 round bulk pack of Federal 115 gr FMJ is only $19.99 at the same store....

What happened with the aluminum cased blazer at academy? It used to be barely half the price of WWB and others, not, not so much. I know aluminum is a lot cheaper than brass.
