    the gym i was a member of in houston had a rock wall i'd hit every week. i wish there was a good place near me.

    I've never climbed before so I'm looking for someone to teach me the basics, only thing in la that u can climb outdoors is a rock in the Alex area that I've heard about.

    Not in quite a while. Caving some too. Had to give up gym climbing due to wrist problems though.

    Paracord, there are plenty of buildings around! Or build yourself a climbing wall. Any place you can hang a sheet of plywood or two.

    Haven't thought about building my own wall. I'd still have to learn the basics though since I know nothing haha. Was thinking about maybe going to Rok Haus to take a class and maybe learn some.

    I climb, but these days its all indoor. LSU has a decent wall and theres places in Slidell and Lafayette. If you want real rocks you can go to Horse Pens in Alabama or to Texas. I got my start up north living around DC. Climbing the Potomac gorge in Old Dominion was awesome.
