RPSO to auction off seized guns

I saw this earlier today. Anyone in the area might want to check it out.

ALEXANDRIA, La. (KALB News Channel 5) – If you're looking for a new gun, the Rapides Parish Sheriff's Office might be able to help.

The RPSO will be selling 450 seized guns on Saturday, July 27. There will be a gun preview at 8 a.m. and the auction will begin at 9 a.m.

The proceeds are said to be used for the department's general funds and to purchase new firearms for officers.

it was posted a while back. Those internet bids are a joke. Plus 13%. Only good values seem to be a cheap sat night special... Which I have no need for.

I looked to see if it was posted, I guess I didn't go back far enough.

so I just wasted 30 min looking.................First issue is 90% of the weapons are ALL rated Fair to poor condition.

Pretty sure that lot has already been picked over by some privileged people.............
