O.K., I got my mini on the way, and I ordered some extra mags from Midway. The 20s are great, but I went to load up the 30s and I could only get 20-22 rounds in them. They seem like they are binding up. Anybody got any ideas? I hate to send them back to Ruger. I there something I need to look at? I have not taken them apart yet to check on the follower binding in the tube, but that is my only guess right now.

I can't believe nobody had any ideas, so I took them apart and ran just the followers thru the mag tube, and sure enought they were binding at about the spot where they would be with about 20 rounds. Close inspection of the legs on the follower showed casting and seam marks in the plastic. Some were pretty bad. I took the followers and dressed down the sides that rub inside of the tube with fine grit emory paper and reassembled them. They now all hold 30 rounds. I was concerned because the Midway reviews had a lot of complaints about not being able to load the Ruger Factory 30's to capacity because of the binding.
