I am looking for a recent production (newer 580 series ...) Mini-14 or possibly Mini-30 in stainless, prefer with scope for a FTF purchase in SW or West Central Louisiana (Lake Charles to Leesville or points in between). This gun will be used as a varmint rifle on the family cattle ranch (coyotes, etc.) so cosmetics are not particularly important as it will spend a lot of time being carried on ATV, tractor, etc. I thought I would try here first before buying retail, likely will make a purchase during the 2nd amendment tax free weekend in a couple of weeks if no one has anything to offer here first.
