    Now, I'm an old man who doesn't enjoy recoil like I did 50 years ago. But my 460 with 200 grain Hornady "lite" loads, 8-3/8" barrel with muzzle brake and full length scope mount and scope, is a handful. Not punishing or even really unpleasant, but a handful. I don't think I'd want to "plink" with a 3" barreled 460 for fun. Sure, I'd carry one in bear country but even then I'd probably opt for a 4-5" 44 magnum.
    That being said, this would look good with my other 3" barrel safe queens.

    I agree. The muzzle blast with the 8-3/8" barrel is insane.
