Oh, and as an afterthought...
I found the single biggest source of grit after the striker block to be the sear spring and nipple engagement. They beefed it up to counter sear flutter, but there is a lot of turbulence in that spring channel and rough edges on the nipple.
If you smooth it out with a fine grit, polish the contact surfaces, and clip a coil or two, it'll solve a lot of issues within the sear cage.
