Recently purchased a Glock 19, and looking for a decent OWB. Anyone use an ALS for their Glock? If so, would you recommend it? Lastly, any BR area dealers that carry these for a decent price?

    Thanks.

Its great. Super fast and won't jam up like a blackhawk serpa can. I would advise getting the g17 sized holster as 1/2 an inch ain't really going to matter for owb and you never know when you'll get the 17.

I presently own 5 for Glocks and have owned others. I think they are great holsters. You can buy them at Baton Rouge Police Supply or Accurate in Baton Rouge.

MY BAD I read SLS hehe, I do own 3 SLS's and love the feel and the fact they have that suade liner material in them

IF the ALS is like the SLS you should LOVE IT, its thight and protects your gear, its pretty wide though if you dont mind that its pretty nice

I have one and really like it.

A Serpa was the first holster I carried-looking at the two side by side, the Serpa looks like a starter holster compared to the ALS you're considering.

    Strongly encourage the purchase.

BRPS didn't have the one I wanted, plus its left handed for a STI, he said he would sell it for $40.00 over retail, retail was $92.75, plus shipping, another $18.00. I got it for $74.00, plus free shipping, maybe he didn't want to order it :dunno:

BRPS and Accurate order directly from Safariland and it takes 6 weeks to get a holster.

The Safariland Model 6377 ALS should be had for $40. They now ship with a belt loop and paddle attachment, like the Serpa. Safariland offers a number of different belt loops that change the ride height as well. The 6320 is the duty holster version that offers slightly more coverage of the holstered gun and has a heavier duty belt loop but costs significantly more, of course.
