NAHMINT II (Glenn) here from British Columbia , originally from QUEBEC, la BELLE province.
been out west over 40 years.......
Supposed to be retired, ma femme dits NO, lots of work for you, OLD MAN !!! I keep my mouth shut and keep busy...
I shoot black powder,centerfire, shotguns and revolvers.....
Have a lake about 5 minutes away and the ocean,about 10 minutes....I live just a few miles from city of NANAIMO (google it to see where i"m at) lots of mountain lion,deer and black bear right in the city...........I hunt,camp about 50 minutes from home......great place if you like the out doors.....the city, well like most big towns, stateside, small crimes /drugs....
safer with the animals in the mountains.......

imagine it can get pretty cold for long periods of time---love to visit but

About an hour away...thats still a great place but starting logging again on the mountain sides......was in PORT ALBERNI today,. lots of logging on all local mountains again.....logging trucks hauling out of the whole area.

Not much ''cold'' had snow just 1 day this year but it rain and rain then it rain even more !!!!! got webbed feet !!!!!!
not humid like Florida or even Quebec ... me I like warm weather and sun .
