Just thought I would let you guys know the status of Sherburne, the wife and I went out there Sat to shoot rifles. Other than a few muddy spots at the sides of the road, all is in good shape. We came from Baton Rouge and there was only a short section of road work around Livonia. No work at all on the spillway bridge.

The LWF guy told me out there that he had been so busy mowing grass from all the nutrients that were deposited from the flood that he had not even cleaned the mud out of the building yet ........

This time of year , weekends can get busy .

Never had more than 4 benches occupied that morning but it was the first day of deer season outside the WMA. A month earlier when we were there we had to wait on a shooting bench. If others are like me, I like to go when the weather is cooler. It tends to gets busier in cool wx and around hunting season.

I was there a couple of weeks ago checking my hunting rifles. It was in good shape.

i try to go durring the week, and on a rainnny day if i can, usually have the place to myself!!

I do the same thing. It's busy on the weekends.

We went on Thursday at 10 am. No one on the handgun range but the rifle range was full, maybe only 2-3 benches open.
