So I got tired of the black rifle look after putting an ATI stock on my Mini 14 a few years back. With the grip pod attached it just didn't feel right to me. I kept looking at my old plain looking stock thinking that surely I could do something useful to make it look good and put it back in to service.

So here it is. I refinished the old stock over the last two weeks and this is my final product. It has a few flaws, but you have to be inspecting it to see them. I'm pretty happy with it as its the first time I've ever done a refinishing job.

Which brings me to my second point. I have an ATI Strikeforce stock for sale if anybody wants it :p

There's a guy on YouTube who used a tie dye kit to create a magenta color. I went searching for the color I wanted and gave it about 12 coats to get it where I was happy.
