Side saddle question

I just put my 4 shell side saddle holder on my Benelli Supernova. Its on the same side that the shell ejects out of. This is a Tacstar holder and its screwed to the frame, its not on the stock. The majority of pictures I see on the internet have it mounted on the left side (oposite ejection port. Is this the correct side or does it need to go on the "left" side?

If your a right handed shooter, it should go on the left side so you can still be on target and reload at the same time.
