SIG P238 opinions

For the guys who have one or shot one, I'd like to know a brief general opinion on this little pocket gun.

A very accurate little pistol out to 10-15 yards(friend shot at 15). I shot at 10 yards with one magazine and it imprinted roughly a 2-3 inch group. Recoil was pretty mild and muzzle flip was very low. I was so impressed, I bought myself one! I only shot it once since it was for someone else at the range. I can give a better review when I get mine in and hit the range with it.

I walked into Academy ready to purchase an Ruger LCP, saw the little P238 and came home with it instead. My cousin, after seeing mine went back to Academy & bought one too. Recoil was mild as stated, and accuracy was great out to 15-20 feet. Great little pistol. I also picked up some wood grips for it off fleabay. It gave the gun a slightly thicker profile, which helps me b/c I have bigger hands. If I could only find some more ammo now....

I think it was around $450 at academy. The black nitron model.

I picked one up at Lafayette Shooters a couple weeks ago. Only passed 50 rounds through the little gun, but it handled them flawlessly. I think its well worth the money.

old thread, I know, but got a question. If I buy the black nitron model from academy, is it possible to add rosewood grips to it? And where is the best place to find these?

Yes. Factory for sure would have it. Maybe a big sig dealer would have the grips in stock.
