    Last year Academy had the Heritage .22LR on sale for $99 the morning after Thanksgiving. I bought one and ordered the .22Mag conversion cylinder from Heritage for $20.

    For the price, it is a great gun.

    I'm still debating between one and the Ruger. I wonder if i can find a good price on a used SS?

    The Ruger is so much more $$. I mean no doubt its a better gun but you could buy a Heritage and a few thousand rounds of 22LR for the same price. Then again you get what you pay for. I'm still on the fence.

    Yup. Another thing is that the RRs have aluminum frames.
