Update. Thanks everyone for the sage advice. I have met a beautiful, kind, intelligent, understanding , down to earth woman who I've fallen for and vice versa. She has taken a genuine interest in shooting, concealed carry and firearm collecting in general. Having visited one hundred and seventy five countries and all seven continents, she has a first hand appreciation for the rights and freedoms that we enjoy here including, of course, the privilege and exercise of our second amendment rights which many of you fought for in the military and all of us vehemently support. She has a special appreciation of our rights and freedoms, having seen how women are treated in a great part of the world l . I am verytthankful for having her in my life.
I've been single since 2007 and found that I have a lot less stress, more money for other stuff, no complications, etc compared to my un-single counterparts. Also, from the outside in, just observing, Halloween to Valentine's Day is the frame that most relationships end in.
Cheer up! You're free! Have a few flings (be smart!) and enjoy.

I'm convinced that women are built by Century Arms International. Some are perfect right out of the box, some need tweaking and tuning and some will NEVER function correctly.. it's just blind luck o' the draw.
I think of them as 1911's. Beautiful to look at, frustrating to live with, more expensive than is warranted, and a lot of oldsters just can't stop railing on and on about the joys of committing to one and putting up with it for the rest of their lives even though I view the idea as totally out-dated.

Not too sure how old you are, but... Beware the damaged goods. If you run into a good looking, intelligent, independent, well spoken woman who is not married like the vast majority of other girls her age... There's probably a reason for it. Don't be a fixer!

The ex fiancee called it off, but I would have if she didn't. Fortunately, we share a lot of common interests and are interested in learning about e ach others hobbies, etc. She is a natural brunette with red hair. As she said, "even I could could have this color" . I don't have enough hair to worry about dyeing anyway. Thank God for long engagements. Thanks for the advice and the laughs.

Not really, I'm a guy and fit that description although I'm late 20's. I just don't like ******** and don't want to compromise my plans for life. I'm a bit selfish.
My 2¢.
In my opinion interest/hobbies are not an important issue in a relationship. What is more important is mutual agreement as to life goals, morals and the other overarching decisions that make up our lives. Opposites attract, and that can be a good thing, so long as there is a common goal guiding the decisions and compromises that ARE relationships. There are things that I enjoy that my wife finds baffling and vise versa, but we both respect one another enough to simply tolerate those things that we might not get or even agree with insomuch as those things don't derail the overarching mission of our life goals.

Sounds good to me, those are things most of my patients who are long term married seem to have.
