I recently cut my barrel down to 16inches and polished the feed ramp , now I have a cycling problem where it cycle one the other gets half ejected .. Wondering if someone had any advice or suggesting on what I done wrong or how to fix. I did remove the mag that came with it so I had a feeding problem thats why I polished the feed ramp and did remove some of the ramp to allow feeding issues. Thanks

I already had the mag out , I was having feeding problem so I went head and polished it and got a wild hair and chopped the barrel. But I will for sure put the factory mag baxk in tho. Thanks

In my experience with SKSes, the gun usually functions perfectly in the original configuration. The majority of feeding issues are normally related to the magazine because if the rifle functions before you change the mag and doesn't function after the mag change, chances are the problem is the Mag.
I don't know about the chopping the barrel off. Isn't that where the front sight is located? Please post what kind of SKS this is so I can compare to mine and advise as best I can.

Its a yugo 59/66 it funtioned fine with the mag change out , I went today after lookimg on issue and I drilled the gas port out a lil bit it cycled a few then jammed. Then I loaded it up with a forty round pro mag and smoked the full mag no hiccups
