Weapons Training & Ammunition is on Hwy 41 in Pearl River. Not sure of the hours though.
FITS is in Slidell off of OST. Again. Not sure of the hours.

Don't know what the OP was interested in but there is also Ken's Bayou Archery & Guns, they have some guns new and used. They do transferes I think they charge $40 these days (kind of high IMHO) but notheless they are on northside of Hwy 190 West/Gause West just east of Carroll road!

Steer clear of Weapons, Training, Ammunition.
Is there a story behind that warning?

    Please enlighten me as well!

I noticed half of the ammo he sells is in ziploc bags. That alone concerns me.

    Yep, he sells reloads.

He will gladly tell you that whatever you want is crap and that you need such and such. That and his stories from when he was in SAS, Mossad and the Spetnaz. I think he is still a counterterrorism adviser to the Defense Department. It's tiring and boring.
