Methinks after 1.5 years on here that perhaps your price might be a tad high, but that's just me. I couldn't get that much for my 686 stainless 4".

Actually Smith & Wesson made MILLIONS of these starting in 1957 and continuing until 1999......a lot longer, and a lot more than the 686, which wasn't introduced until 1980.

Pinned meaning it is not threaded in? or threaded then pinned?

to my knowledge the barrel is pressed in and then pinned. the non pinned barrels thread it. but i could be wrong.
