The best thing about crossfit is that it's infinitely scalable. Keep up the hard work brother!thanks all.....spanky, i started out heavier than you, so that helped with my weight loss...but you are in beast mode with cross fit...it looks fun..but my knees could not take it...so instead my working out is done by riding my fixed gear and mountain bike
I just noticed how old this thread is.....congrats by the way op.yeah but im trying to gain weight...3-4 lbs a month is ideal, 5lbs isnt unacceptable, 5.5lbs in a month would be a failure. Starting weight 170. By mid/ end of summer ill hopefully be in the 200-210 territory, and it will be time to see if i want to keep going or go for a small cut, then back to the grind. I want my olympic lifts to go up.
Trying to minimize an increase in bf%. Its nuts how much im eating to gain weight, its fun but kind of a chore. As long as i get 150+ grams of protien a day, i just eat whatever to get calories in.

i ride 2012 trek superfly al elite 29er mountain bike, or fixed gear road bike about 45min to 1hr a day when off or weather permits, at max normally 3 days a week

Something that i noticed between Spanky and myself, while he follows Paleo Diet and does crossfit and i follow your eating plan and use fitday.com and exercise byriding my bike; we are both able to achieve weight loss and fitness. For an example in 10 months, i went from wear ing 5xl shirt, now i can wear a size 1xl and lostof total of 166.5lbs. I guess anything can be done once you find a way that you can make work for yourself.
Hi Guys all that wonderful stuff about exercising is great untill you get old then your joints give out and exercising is no longer a option, and diet is the only way to stay healthy, something to think about....and if you are luckey you will get old...
