i have a nagant and sardine can of ammo for sale 7.62X54R the gun is is good shape and the ammo is unopened. i have only shot it 2 times but it worked flawlessly; cleaning rod is missing. would like $180.00 for both. not willing to separate as i have no use for one without the other. i do not know what to say other than it is sealed and in a silver tin box. the only markings are the ones pictured and i cannot make heads or tails of them. any one who has more knowledege please jump in.

Here's a rundown on the ammo. That's a very low spread of velocities from surplus ammo, better than anything else I see listed other than the 7N1 sniper ammo.

Yes it is. I've got several of these. Some slide right on and off, some require 2 pairs of vice grips.

LACamper and I have Soviet M44's, which are almost identical to this one.

Not sure about the ammo, but x54R surplus is x54R surplus.

no the bay folds back into the stock and yes i have shot it twice, it shoots nicely its just not really my style of weapon. aside from just to say i have a POWERFUL weapon with a big box of ammo.

91/30 rifles yes it is.... m44 rifles it folds back...

Oops, my mistake, I assumed it was a 91/30. The M44 has either a 16 or 20" barrel.
