It's a 2 inch barrel revolver and I've put 100 rounds through it without a problem (duh, it's a revolver).

I bought it from a friend and had to look up the model by taking off the grips and found out it's a Model 68 which was basically a S&W J-Frame clone. By researching the serial numbers I found out it was made in the mid-late 80's when Rossi was still its own company (before Taurus bought it and the quality declined).

It's a very solid revolver and the cylinder is very smooth. I've kept it in good condition and made sure to clean and oil it well. I put Pachmyr grips on it but I still have the original wood grips, too. (It looks like this with the original wood grips:

I've seen them go from $200-$250 on online auctions depending on the condition and mine is in great condition so my price if you buy it is $220. If you want to trade for something else run an offer by me and we'll see. Doesn't hurt to ask. (I'm currently looking for a pump action home defense shotgun).

Is it a 68 or a 685? The model number should be behind the swing arm of the cylinder. If 685, I have this exact pistol with the same pachmyr grips. I really like this revolver, and I feel they are severely under-rated. I can keep shots in the head of a silhouette at 30 yards. (slow fire of course)

    Good luck with your sale.

Oh, and if anyone is wondering, HKS speedloaders "do" work with it, but not perfectly and take a lot of practice.
