No key lock near the cylinder release, all S&W revolvers made now have safety locks, Not many people like them. They have been known to activate and lock up the pistol on heavy recoiling models. This gives prelocks a boost in price because they are more sought after now and may never be made again considering the parent company of S&W is called Safe-T Hammer and is a manufacturer of gun locks.
